Abyss Super Pile Towel -Tiramisu
Abyss and Habidecor are located in the heart of green, northern Portugal, next to the beautiful medieval city of Viseu. With over 40 years of experience, Abyss and Habidecor set the standard in the manufacturing of high-quality luxury bath linens. These are made of the softest Egyptian cotton from Giza.
The Super Pile Towels are among the most luxurious bath linens in the world: the cotton is piled high.
Abyss Super Pile towels are woven in weights up to 700 grams with 100% Giza Long Staple Egyptian Cotton. Although many towels incorporate different grades of Egyptian Cotton, it is rarely used in all three weaving directions: warp, weft, and pile. The pile of the towel is made of a double twist. These features make the Abyss towel extremely absorbent, very low in lint and much greater in strength to make it last much longer.
In the USA, the Abyss towel was tested alongside a minimum of five other luxury brands. In 50 washings, the Abyss towel proved to be:
- The only towel that withstood all the washings without signs of falling apart.
- To be the most colour fast.
- To become denser and more absorbent with washing.
- To be 20% more absorbent than the next best towel.

Wash & Dry at medium temperatures. Drying hot will greatly reduce the life of the towel. Do not over dry. Laundering is what wears out any towel, so if you use care when washing, it will add years to the life of your Abyss towels. Do NOT bleach or use any detergent containing bleach. Beware of facial creams or ointments. These can bleach out colour. Avoid softeners - they glue the fibers.
*If pulls or snags should occur, simply snip them off. This will not affect the towel. Always wash towels by themselves. Do not launder with jeans, bras, or any other items that may snag. Wash whites and colours separately.
